Followed you faithfully and marveled at your resilience. Still a very Amy experience but glad to see that in addition to the planning and detail orientation, you rolled with some changes and shared your beautiful soul with so many people along the way.
and going is a great metaphor for life. Some things and people are constants and others are wonderful while they last. Then we just need to appreciate that they were there once they are gone.”
As always great pictures. Your blog made us feel like we were traveling along with you. Looking forward to seeing you and hearing more about your adventures. See you soon.
Truly an amazing journey, and your writing style is infectious, makes me want to strap on a good pair of walking shoes and hit the Camino myself!!! Can't wait to hear about all the things that didn't make it into your daily journaling when you are back, love to you and safe travels home!
Congratulations! I am one of those that came in and out of your blog every few days and really appreciated your reflections. Can’t wait to hear about it in person. And, Lulu can’t wait to walk with you!
Dory and I have been following you faithfully and really enjoying your adventure. I noticed some similarities with my PCT walk in 2015. Such a great experience, thank you for sharing with all of us!
I'm so glad you actually got to see the botafumeiro in action!! When I was in the cathedral 60 years ago, we were able to go up behind the high altar to where there was a statue of St. James which we could embrace from behind. Is that still allowed? Those 2 days I spent in Santiago de Compostela are indelibly etched in my memory, so impressive they were. Following your journal this past month, I feel like I, too, have walked the Camino! Thanks, Amy, for allowing me to tag along with you. God bless you on your path forward!
